We are seeking an organised, proactive and diligent Membership and Engagement Coordinator to lead on the administrative support for our members and the wider Engagement team. The post holder will be responsible for providing a seamless experience for members wanting to join the ESU or for those renewing their membership. The Membership and Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for developing relationships with members and branch chairs, finding ways to involve members in the work of the ESU and maintaining oversight of the organisation’s CRM. The post holder will also help support the ESU’s events and international work.
Responsibilities:
· Support the Membership Manager to implement a new recruitment strategy to grow ESU membership in agreed target audiences
· Work with the Membership Manager to ensure a straightforward renewals process, this includes sending email and postal renewal communications, updating lapsed memberships and taking credit and debit card payments.
· Ensure membership records on the CRM are accurate and up-to-date.
· Assemble and dispatch Welcome Packs to new members.
· Act as the first point of contact for current and prospective members and assist with their queries.
· Assist with the production of monthly membership statistics and reports.
· Ensure the ESU has robust and clearly documented membership processes and make suggestions to enhance and resolve issues that arise.
· Maintain records of international ESUs and support the Director of Global Engagement with sending communications to this group.
· Liaise with branch chairs to support their requirements and provide details on membership statuses for their branch members.
Essential:
· An understanding of the nature and importance of the ESU’s charitable work within educational and wider contexts and a strong commitment to increasing the impact of the organisation’s work

As our Head of Brand and Health Engagement, you’ll be responsible for managing a team to produce sector-leading, highly effective, marketing campaigns and customer journeys, inspiring more people to engage with and support the British Heart Foundation (BHF) and its lifesaving work.
Every penny counts so each piece of activity needs to achieve demonstrable results, driving active support and engagement with the BHF aligned with our brand & marketing strategies. You’ll champion effectiveness within your own team and take a lead role in the development of integrated marketing communications.
Working with peers, this role will ensure the integration of activity across all the BHF’s marketing communications and challenge agencies and in-house teams to develop the most effective approach.
Crucial to making sure activity is effective and delivers against targets will be the successful leadership of the Brand and Health Engagement team – a team which will need to work at pace and with clear direction.

Working arrangements
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, covering an internal secondment.
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London Office.
At the BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least two days each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. About you

The Ripple Pond is a charity that supports adult family members of physically and/or psychologically injured British Armed Forces personnel and veterans. Many of these individuals and family members are hard to reach and often isolated.
Your role will be to ensure that more and more of the military community, professionals and other interested parties know who we are and how to access our support.
You will also help to organise our exciting programme of online talks and activities for our Members (service-users) to help ensure they are well-informed, involved and feel part of a supportive community. Making sure that Members are always involved in generating ideas and production.
We are looking for someone who is dynamic and determined, but you also need to be invested in our mission as a charity and care about people.
This role is about;
• working with a wide range of groups and individuals to help raise awareness of the charity and to create opportunities to identify new Members (service users);
• being responsible for networking, identifying, and establishing partnerships with key individuals and organisations and nurturing existing relationships;
• developing and rolling out strategies to engage with hard-to-reach and isolated military carers and families;
• coordinating a range of activities (mainly online) to deliver information to Members, potential Members, referrers, and other stakeholders. These will include online talks from staff, Members and other “subject matter experts”; and
• helping to ensure the charity continues to understand the developing needs of its Members.
Although the role is home-based, you will not be working in isolation; you will be supported by the managers and workforce.

Supporting adult family members of physically or psychologically injured British Armed Forces personnel and veterans
Focused on developing cultural and accessible opportunities for new and existing audiences, building local and long-term relationships, embedding meaningful and relevant ways of working with young people and collaborating with artists, partners, programme team to create impact. Emphasising an audience-centred approach, this new role has been established to develop and deliver new initiatives and engagement projects that bridge the gap between artistic programme and communities.
Key aims include:
• Platform new narratives, underrepresented perspectives and reflective discourse to widen audience engagement
• Futureproof the creative industry for generations to come through inclusive pathways and progression routes – supporting young people that enter the programme to expand and grow skills set and build the talent pipeline.
• To produce programmes that have impact by ensuring effective implementation of the Learning and Engagement and Audience Development strategy.
Strategy
• Deliver on the ICA’s vision and mission, the L&E strategy, audience development targets, increasing reach to work with diverse audiences, working to team targets and SMART objectives. Promote equality and inclusivity in all aspects of work.
• Instigating new collaborative models to engage with contemporary society that leverages the ICA’s assets as a resource.
Programme delivery
• Working closely with the Head of Learning and Engagement to devise and produce ICA’s Learning and Engagement programme, including co-creating with young people on our core youth projects (ICA Creatives and youth forum), monthly talks programme, book launches, symposia, workshops (inc reading groups), residencies.
• Developing programme that is responsive to the artistic programme and audience need.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with institutions including higher education and third sector for collaborative purposes and to grow new audiences.
• Liaise and collaborate with the Bookstore Manager on creating opportunities in line with the talks programme and book launches.

Finance Management
• Manage the project budget ensuring both quality control and good value for money, including authorising expenditure via any payment method, tracking all transactions, and tracking actual, committed, and forecast (uncommitted) costs. With oversight from Head of L&E.
• Track income, request sales invoices, and submit a third-party audit trail for all income received.
• Reconcile project budgets and cashflow to our accounting system monthly, in collaboration with the Finance Manager.
Comms & Marketing
• Work to maintain the profile of ICA and our projects.
• Work with the Communications Team to plan and deliver communication and participant recruitment campaigns and implement appropriate strategic marketing for each project.
• Arrange photography and video documentation as necessary.
• Write copy in line with ICA guidelines to promote programme
General Administration
• Ensure all day-to-day project administration is carried out efficiently and appropriately.
• Maintain that all project activity and outcomes are carried out in line with ICA’s policies and procedures, including and not limited to insurance, liability, health & safety, safeguarding, privacy & data protection, access, equity, diversity, inclusion, safer spaces, and anti-racism.
• Work in a sustainable and environmentally conscious manner in the production and presentation of ICA programme.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for a Communications and Engagement Officer with at least two years of relevant experience, who will be able to contribute to our new VCS Capacity Building contract.
Having a good level of experience in producing and designing communications content, excellent copy writing skills with the ability to create clear and compelling content, excellent attention to detail and a strong track record in developing communications which stand out and increase both engagement and awareness.
Someone who enjoys working with the local community and able to use their communication and engagement skills to ensure we are reaching all parts of the VCS community within the Borough of Haringey. Having knowledge of the VCS within Haringey would be an advantage, but not essential.

The role
MIND in Haringey and its partner Public Voice delivers the Voluntary and Community (VCS) Capacity Building contract commissioned by the London Borough of Haringey. The contract, which runs from May 2024 to April 2027 can be extended for a further four years at the discretion of the Client. The Contract includes the administration and management of the Volunteer Centre and the development and promotion of a Navigation Network (NavNet) knowledge sharing platform, META Workplace.
The Community Alliance team will be located across different sectors of the Borough employed by either MIND in Haringey or Public Voice who make up the consortium partners. Day-to-day management of the Community Alliance service is the responsibility of the Haringey Community Alliance Manager.

We’re looking for a proactive Community Engagement Officer with an eye for detail and a can-do attitude who is willing to learn, grow and take ownership of this newly created and unique role.
You’ll be a warm and friendly communicator, both verbally and in writing, and be excited about raising support and awareness for SSR’s work with those affected by scoliosis.
As the Community Engagement Officer, working with the Community Engagement Manager you will manage relationships with regular donors and support individuals to fundraise effectively for SSR as well as thanking fundraisers and donors.
You will work with the Community Engagement Manager to support our wider fundraising efforts by providing administrative support.
A significant part of your role will be to respond to Helpline enquiries, either by phone or email. You will be the first point of contact. Training will be given on this.
You will also handle liaising and looking after our members and processing new membership applications.
You’ll work closely with the Community Engagement Manager on any events. The yearly ‘Scoliosis Awareness Day’ event, along with the Zorab Symposium which takes place every three years and any patient meetings that take place.
You will need to be able to travel to the office at least one day a week. Days worked can be agreed to suit the successful candidate.
You will need database experience. We use E Tapestry, but Raisers Edge or other charity database experience is relevant.

Do you have experience of engaging and communicating with potential and existing charitable supporters? If so, we would be very interested to hear from you. This is a new and exciting role within a vibrant, ambitious small charity.
Tyndale House is a renowned institute for biblical studies and possesses one of the finest libraries for biblical research in the world. It aims to grow an international research community, to present the value of the Bible at the highest academic level, to resource the Church to understand and trust the Bible, and to promote informed attitudes to the Bible.
The Supporter Engagement Officer will play a key role in engaging, involving and inspiring all supporters of Tyndale House through building excellent relationships via a variety of communication channels. One of our ambitious plans for 2024 and beyond includes a capital campaign to rebuild our 1960s library into a state-of-the-art facility. We are looking for people to work with us to make this vision a reality.
The successful candidate will be integral to achieving our strategic priorities of generating income through repeat support, and providing exceptional journeys for our community of supporters, ensuring they feel valued and engaged. The role will provide strategic support to the Director of Engagement and work with the communications and development team to ensure that our outputs are cohesive and coherent.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, ideally within the Charity sector. He/she will be a self-starter, highly motivated and with the ability to work well as part of a team.
There is an Occupational Requirement for the post-holder to be an active, practising, evangelical Christian in agreement with the doctrinal basis of Tyndale House and living in accord with our Ethos Statement (as permitted under schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010).

Main Role & Responsibilities
The post holder will be an active member of our programmes team and will work across our portfolio of programmes.
They will be responsible for regional stakeholder engagement, developing relationships and promoting Ygam training across the UK. They will recruit suitable delegates to workshops, working closely with a range of organisations and families.
They will provide training both face to face and online and will be responsible for the delivery of our assured workshops and promoting the work of Ygam at conferences and events.
They will be able to demonstrate the impact of this work by working with organisations to collate case studies and evidence to support the programmes achievements.

Our mission is to help children and young people have a fair chance to be who they want to be. We do this by providing a safe home, increasing life skills and self-confidence, and improving emotional wellbeing and mental health.
The e-wellbeing team specialise in Youth Participation and Digital co-production. We aim to get young people’s voices heard in Mental Health services and support systems across Sussex. We run , a youth produced Mental Health support website for young people, a mental health social media platform, as well as various youth participation groups. As a team we run internal and external contracts from multiple organisations to involve young people as experts by experience in all things related to Mental Health.
We are looking for a Youth Engagement Worker to join us to predominantly plan, run and facilitate mental health engagement sessions for Children and Young People (CYP) across Sussex. You will deliver mental health workshops (in-person and online) to college, secondary schools and primary schools across Brighton and Hove. You will also co-run e-wellbeing’s youth participation group (in-person and online), ensuring youth involvement actively informs, influences, and helps e-wellbeing measure youth engagement of all projects.
In addition, you will contribute to planning of youth focused social events, digital content – social media management, scheduling and carry out administrative tasks within the team. Ideal for anyone who has had experience in youth participation and strives to get CYP voices heard and having meaningful impact.
Hybrid role – based at Reed House in Hove, with an expectation of working flexibly across Brighton & Hove, along with the hours to be worked flexibly over the week including working regular out of hours. Working pattern can be discussed at interview.

You will have a passion for working with young people, who can work independently and as part of a team. You will already have experience of working directly with young people, facilitating youth groups and/or user led projects, being confident in public speaking and presenting to young people.
You will have knowledge of digital communications, particularly to support youth mental health, along with experience of coordinating different work streams and activities. In addition, you will have proven experience in safeguarding children and young people.
